We don't need no stinking "watch" dogs; we need pit bulls in the bully pulpit!

I think Card stumbled upon the truth, the media does not represent the people. It represents corporate interests. This makes sense since almost all media is owned by a handful of corporations. It would be nonsensical for them to turn on their corporate masters, or provide a truly balanced picture. Their job is to convince people to accept the corporate viewpoint as fact. Most of the sheep in this country are more than happy to buy into it. You reap what you sow.

The corporate press are worthless wimps who praise the Bush Regime! Dictatorships always destroy the free press and spew propaganda!
