Pardon my crudity but I think there should be, (perhaps unknown to me is), a word that encapsulates the sentiment: Holy shit what have we done?

Don't forget: The super PACs have not yet begun to carpet bomb the GOP with ads about voting to end Medicare.

Good times.

Good times.

I'm starting to think that Romney will lose to Obama by an even greater margin than Gingrich.

Besides, I'd much rather a Romney campaign that focuses on the inequities of our economic system than a Gingrich campaign that focuses on food stamps, illegal aliens and "The Gay".

I'm inclined to agree with you Mr Andersen. Elections are won as much by who does not vote as who does. If I were a Democratic strategist I'd try and make sure there was some good solid Republican fare on the tube election night. Some John Wayne epic perhaps. Maybe some Reagan memorabilia on the shopping channel.

I don't know why republican voters don't like Mitt Romney. To me he is the very embodiment of what they think they are going to be someday if they just keep voting republican. The "successful" businessman who claims that higher taxes on him and his compadres will lead to less job opportunities for everyone else. And as for his "politics of envy" remark, I think he deserves a bit of defense. When people stop paying so much attention to the idle rich, ie: The Kardashians, The Real Housewives of ___________, and so many more useless reality show and tabloid types who don't do any actual work for their money, then I will be willing to say that Mitt Romney has no basis in what he said. And maybe just maybe, my post comes off as an endorsement for Mitt Romney. Well maybe as the republican nominee, but not as president. Because no matter how much the left will laugh at the prospect of a Newt Gingrich candidacy, please take nothing for granted. You always have to stop and ask, "What if he wins?"
