Donald Trump's Romney-endorsing news conference opened with the Donald saying that "our country is in serious, serious trouble," which seemed glaringly self-evident, given that all the cable networks carried Donald Trump's Romney-endorsing news conference live, and that Donald Trump's Romney-endorsing news conference has been, and shall remain, virtually the only political story in this 24-hour news cycle.
Meh. It's filler. It's Spackle to cover the dearth of other news after Florida. One can also question the utility of an endorsement from one giant ego with an enormous sense of entitlement to another.

I don't understand why the TEA party doesn't like Mitt Romney more. It looks to me like he is the very embodiment of everything they stand for: No taxes for rich people, No law and order for big corporations combined with a big government nanny state peering into the private homes of ordinary Americans. Combining corporations and churches to have all of the governing power in this country. Jesus, Inc. They love to dress up in Revolutionary War garb, but if this were 1776, they'd be rooting for the monarchy.

AnneJ, that's what the Tea Party stands for, but they don't like to admit it. Ironically they can't stand Romney because he is too honest for them.

mdblanche, true. Mitt Romney is like seeing the mask of the republican party of the last thirty years ripped off showing their true face.
