Romney on his unbeatable tax plan:
I think it’s kind of interesting for [nonpartisan] groups to try and score it, because frankly it can’t be scored, because those kinds of details will have to be worked out with Congress, and we have a wide array of options.
Those groups that have indeed scored the elusive thing have "estimated it would add more than $3 trillion to the federal deficit." Yet Romney's straightforward defense to that is that his tax plan is in fact utterly meaningless, empty of any real content and void of all substance.
Stunning.
And he's the best they've got? I keep hearing how Chris Christie or Jeb Bush would make better candidates, but quite frankly I don't see how.
