Were I to hire someone from an American Ivy League college I would give not a moments consideration to anyone who did not attend on a full academic scholarship. The quality of their legacies and those students whose parent's name recognition earned them their place has been falling for decades. A simple spelling bee proved that.

I must mention that it was a putative interview for the Harvard Business Review that launched the affair of Jack Welch and Suzy Wetlaufer, who was editor-in-chief -- until Jack's wife found out and blew their cover.

Here in Chez Beauzeaux, we use "being interviewed by the Harvard Business Review" interchangeably with "hiking the Appalachian Trail."
