Mitt Romney seems to delight in proving what an incredibly incompetent liar he is, telling Fox News:
I don’t recall the [Lauber] incident myself ...
... and immediately preceding that,
I had no idea what that individual’s sexual orientation might be.
That's a pretty good trick--to not be able to recall an "assault and battery" incident but be able to recall that he wasn't aware at that time of some specific element of that incident.
It's a bit like Romney's denial to Newt Gingrich, during one of the many GOP-debate fiascoes, that he possessed any knowledge of some nasty, "assault and battery" super PAC ad he was running, yet he went on to provide an unprompted, blow-by-blow confirmation of its specifics.
For the remarkably incompetent Romney to have made so much money in the corporate world of buyouts and takeovers, his victims clients must have been as helpless and vulnerable and desperate as John Lauber was.
And so it is. The Cranbrook Institute for the Terminally Privileged is the kind of place where one sorts the privileged sociopaths from the merely privileged. No Sorting Hat is required. It is a self-selection process. It is how one comes to the realization that your name and your money is all the insulation you will ever need from the consequences of your actions and their effects on those around you. It might seem hyperbolic but I seriously begin to wonder if any or all of Mitt's residences are equipped with dungeons.

Mr Carpenter, please review the debate clip where Gov Perry confronted him with hiring illegal immigrants to do lawn care. First he laughs, then he denies any knowledge, then he provides plausible clarity to what he JUST denied knowing anything about.
