Ron Paul's last, last hurrah

"We will no longer spend resources campaigning in primaries in states that have not yet voted."

Or, "I quit."

"Doing so with any hope of success would take many tens of millions of dollars we simply do not have."

Or, "I'm broke."

There, now wasn't that easier?

I suppose Ron Paul's mealy-mouthedness was in keeping with his followers' refusal to ever concede defeat, to ever bow to reality, to ever say die. But for a straight-talkin' good old boy who claims to always tell things like they are, what an officious, bureaucratic lump of plusungood double-talk he spewed in his last hurrah.
