Notwithstanding Napoleon's elementary advice that when one's enemies are destroying themselves, then for God's sake leave them be, MSNBC seems intent on going all Fox News on us and letting Mitt slip away.
I just don't understand it. Was Romney not already serving himself heaps of self-humiliation? Had not Fox nailed itself down as the world's leading and undisputed distorter? Rhetorical questions. Then why would MSNBC hand them both more ammunition to fire more of that "false equivalence" crap?
Such is the natural putrefaction of "partisan news" organizations--a term which is at war with itself, and organically leads to the kind of overzealous news-juvenilization that Fox propagandists and preceding others made infamous.
