The latest Pew (phew) poll:
Obama beats Romney on the issues of creating jobs, immigration, Supreme Court nominees, the economy, taxes, healthcare, foreign policy, energy, terrorism, human rights, and the "problems of poor people."
Romney beats Obama on "Reducing the federal budget deficit."
Obama, 11; Romney, 1.
This is also known as a turkey shoot.
By the end of the first debate, Romney won't lead in that one category.
Plus, looking at all categories, most of them are far more important to most voters than the deficit is.

It would be 12 to 0 if the voters knew the republicans' actual proposals for reducing the budget deficit.

Note also that the PPACA is now above water and in positive approval territory:

Looks like the GOP death cultists lose again!

Obama also leads in the candidate who can be trusted to "not lie about when he left his job as CEO of Bain Capital, then have the proof shoved in his face immediately after accusing his opponent of lying about it, and then lash out and whine after being hoisted on his own petard"
Romney is some kind of walking pile of fail. His campaign is such a bunch of losers I almost wonder if one of the other candidates would have done better. Then I remember who those candidates were. Nope. Romney's still the best they had. Point and laugh, everyone!
