A quick thought ...
It seems only fair that next month President Obama should announce that 500,000 private-sector jobs were created in August, but he's decided to withhold the Labor Department's report supporting that figure. The public should just take his word for it.
With his low tax rate, he was able keep more of his money so if he won't release the returns how about he tell us How many jobs did Mr Romney create in 2008 -2010? Isnt that how they say it works?

I'm loving this cornering of Romney, BUT I hope what doesn't get lost in all this is ... 13%?!? WTF?!?
Don't get me wrong, I don't believe Romney for a second. But let's not forget that regardless, 13% is unacceptable.

Romney says that he paid at least 13% of his un specified income in taxes for the past ten years. There are Rumors that he paid no federal income taxes for ten years prior to 2010. Romney himself does not specify whether the the taxes he paid, which amounted to 13 % of his income, were for federal taxes. It may be the case that Romney includes State/local taxes and sales taxes in his 13% he paid in taxes.
The only way to ascertain the truth, however, is for Mitt Romney to release his past income tax returns.

Lawrence O'Donell makes a compelling argument for the reasonable possibility that Romney illegaly under-paid taxes via off-shore accounts, but later achieved "legality" via the amnesty program.
Who knows whether this is the truth? What is true is that scenario would fit within Romney's story line.
