If you read nothing else today (other than this sentence), read this, from Timothy Egan, the NY Times' most skillful columnist, hands down.

I am an inveterate reader of the LTE's in my local paper, The Daily Herald. I read them online so that I can read the comments.
There are some RW true believers and I have been waiting for them to echo Romney's charges.
Surprisingly, as of yet, none have done so. They have no problem talking about the gutting of work requirements, Solyndra, Fast and Furious, even though those have all been debunked, but this they are leaving alone.
Romney has even crossed a line with them, I think.
Not that they won't vote for him due to their obvious hatred of everything Obama. But I have been surprised by their silence on this issue. Of course that can all change on a moment's notice.
