MSNBC just aired the opening of a Romney rally in Fairfax, Va. It seems Mitt has now decided that we're in mourning and we should therefore postpone--translation: drop--any further discussion of the recent tragedy in Libya and turmoil in Egypt.
My God, the transparency and insincerity and downright mawkishness of this apparently ceaseless affront to human dignity are simply breathtaking. I never thought any one politician could possess every profoundly disagreeable attribute in such stunning overabundance. But one can. And right now, it's squawking in Virginia.
Had he thought of suspending his campaign while he rushed off to Washington to help bring order to the Obamaen chaos?

Narcissistic sociopath.
I expect a lot of yelling and self pity going on behind the scenes.
Epic.

Even Dubya had a better appreciation of the humbling nature of the Presidency. Mitt is so used to being surrounded by Yes Men that he still hasn't grasped the fact that he doesn't get what he wants just because he says it.

And after having to listen to this insufferable waste of oxygen running on the republican ticket for the past year or so, I, a loyal but not the most intelligent reader of this site can only come up with one person to quote every time I hear the human gaffe machine open up his trap for his latest pile of word vomit. And that would be the comedian Ron White when he tells the story of being arrested for public drunkenness- "I had the right to remain silent...but not the ability".

So, why isn't Obama running away in the polls? Are we, as a group of supposedly educated people really that stupid to give Romney an even chance of winning? What's wrong with us?
