Whatever singular strand may have been keeping Donald Trump precariously tethered to reality apparently snapped this morning on "Fox & Friends." Said Mr. Trump:
[Obama's is] the worst foreign policy in history. The Middle East is crumbling down and they hate us. We’ve spent trillions of dollars — we spent 1.5 trillion in Iraq and Iraq is going to hell. They all hate us, not to mention the lives that we lost. The lives that we lost in the Middle East, it is the greatest disaster.
Uh, Donald, Obama opposed the Iraq war.
The recurring republican theme is that on Jan 1, 2009 or whenever Obama took office, he started with a clean slate. Everything that has gone wrong or not been fixed since then is completely his fault. Never mind anything he inherited, good or bad, it is ALL Obama's fault. End of.

According to Trump, he'll release some "surprising" information about the president on Wednesday. Anyone who knows Trumps knows that whatever he reveals will be based on a lie, a conspiracy theory, and/or an already threadbare piece of RW propaganda.

Monty is correct.
Nothing happened until the day Obama took office. Then everything bad that's ever happened happened on Obama's watch and he is singularly to blame.
The Iraq War that Obama opposed? No such thing until he took office, so it's his fault. This logic also applies to the deficit, unemployment, income inequality, Iran's nuclear program, the housing bubble and aftermath, global warming..oh wait, not global warming because it still doesn't exist. But when they do acknowledge it, it'll be Obama's fault. Or maybe Gore's or Carter's. Who only exist to the extent they can be mocked and criticized, of course. Oh and Reagan is responsible for anything good.
