Janet Huckabee, wife of St. Michael, is rallying Missouri's faithful on behalf of Todd Akin in the most shockingly irreligious way. Via BuzzFeed, I quote:
"It made my blood boil," Huckabee said of the Republican Party's abandonment of Akin. "There's the wrath of God, and then there's the wrath of Janet."
Webster's 1b definition of blasphemy: "the act of claiming the attributes of deity."
Now on to the Big Guy, from Leviticus 24:13/16:
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying ...
And he that blasphemeth the name of the LORD, he shall surely be put to death, and all the congregation shall certainly stone him.
Nice knowing you, Janet.
Feeling a bit cocky is she? When I believed in god, all my childhood religious teaching taught us to be humble in the face of god. Of course all of those cretins who make a fortune off of the most potent snakeoil ever invented, religion know that humility doesn't fatten the holy bank account.
