He's from my state and he's been in office for too long. But he represents Orange-right wing-County so his seat is as safe as any in the history of gerrymandering. Funny how republicans are always in favor of term limits except for when it comes to their overpaid, underworked government jobs.

..or you could put it the way I would: he's from Orange County, so he's not from my state.

I suggest a Rohrabacher test where people are asked to describe what they see and hear as a means of characterizing political dysfunctions.

Sorry an edit.

He became my congressman after the last census, replacing the district that used to belong to Christopher Cox, another clueless congressman. Although this district is reliably R for the time being, even here in the home of the John Birch Society demographics are changing. Unfortunately, I'll probably be dead by the time the transformation is complete.

Laguna Bob,
please hold on. You probably have a better chance of getting rid of your congressman in your lifetime than I do of getting rid of mine out here in Riverside County.

Laguna Bob,

Please don't give up. After so many tries, we finally got rid of one Republican here in San Diego County, Brian Bilbray, something I never expected to happen. Our next target is Darrell Issa who represents parts of San Diego county as well as parts of Orange county. His winning percentage this time was much lower than the percentages he received in previous elections.
