I just this very minute started a new daily medication, whose accompanying, three-page pharmacological exegesis begins: "It is not known exactly how this medicine works."

If aspirin were discovered today, it would take years before it was available, would be accompanied by at least a three-page insert, and would be sold by prescription only.

But it is known doubtless, to work better while the patient is dancing naked around a bonfire under a full moon. Ooh! And carrying a spear!I think I'll just let that image settle into the mind's eye of any readers of comments.
