It's stories like this that make me wish humankind had never discovered electricity, without which the Internet would have been an impossibility. We were an ignorant species before, but now we're devolving into snarling tribal packs of eccentrically "informed," high-tech ignoramuses, which somehow is more embarrassing.
Read this story earlier elsewhere. The problem with the internet, of course, is that people tend to narrow themselves to those places that reinforce their already set in cement biases.
There is a disease in this country that can never be fully cured. However, we must follow the lead of Mr. Rosen and not let the crazies cause us to cower in fear. We must stand up and point out the meanness, cruelty and inhumanity of these people.

@Suzanne: They have always been out there. But now they're much more visible, thanks to social media and the 24/7 news cycle that craves the extreme.
