There really needs to be a new logical fallacy to deal with expert authority in delivering inexpert opinion. No one is better than Bolton at getting things wrong. He is absolutely and almost uniquely expert at doing that. Rivaled only, I think, by dick Morris.

Let's not forget Bill Kristol. He makes the very, very, very occasional accurate statement about domestic politics, but on foreign policy and matters of war and peace, he has a losing streak about as long as the Cubs' World Series drought.
