From the Glens Falls Chronicle (NY), of all places, comes early word from Gov. Chris Christie that he intends to run dead last in every GOP presidential primary: "I'm not much different from Andrew Cuomo. I probably agree with him on 98% of the issues."
True, this wouldn't hold up in court. It's hearsay, as heard by a union official and thereupon told to the GF Chronicle. But given the congenial flow of the article, there's little reason to doubt the statement's authenticity, which already, I'm sure, sits in every opposition-research file of every Christie opponent.
(Thanks to Political Wire for the alert.)
I hope he doesn't think he's going to switch parties. Or maybe he'll run as an independent with bloomberg's money?

Christie has to bail out on the GOP. It's a road to nowhere for a guy with ambition.

Perhaps, Tim. But for a guy with the presidential itch, where can he go? He certainly couldn't compete in a Democratic primary dominated by the Joe vs. Hillary smackdown that's sure to come.
