Rush is shocked, nay, despondent, at the presence of lingering doubt and the political world's rude inability to simply take a national figure under fire at his or her self-exonerating word:
Even though Christie has denied any involvement, fired two staffers, and has claimed he was lied to, even with that, none of the Democrats who Christie claims that he works with and gets along with have come out and supported him, and no Republicans have, either. It's so typical, so, so typical.
Now I must stop you right here, before you guffaw, and remind you that Rush said the very same thing about Hillary's denials of any Benghazi skulduggery. And damnit I'd prove it to you, if I could just find that Limbaugh transcript, which, ahem, seems to be unlocatable at the moment.
