The geniuses over at RedState's comment section are in full feeding mode, having been frenzied by the site's professional coverage of the Benghazi select committee: "Speaker Boeher has finally tired of being punked by the Obama regime ... [and so is reminding] them his correct title is 'Speaker' and not 'bitch.'"
This has "cynbel" torn betwixt orgasm and curiosity:
Can anyone tell me what the select committee has the power to do? How far can they go? What action can they take? What if the DoJ doesn't want to take action?
"streiff" to the rescue, sort of:
good question. Unless DoJ takes action there won't be any prosecution. I think its main role is to create a comprehensive record, and in this case lay some blame.
But "streiff" puts "MF" in a funk:
That's truly sad, because we all know that DoJ will take no action. They have become totally politicized under Holder.
Happily, "cynbel" is encouraged by all this received knowledge, returning to say:
If it shows all the people who have blood on their hands, then that is good. I sure would love to see those people in the Federal penitentiary. Not to mention resignations of those still in office. No one died at Watergate, so maybe this committee will have some stronger effect.
And now you know why the words "mob" and "ugly" are generally found in the same sentence.
More than anything, though, "cynbel" and "streiff" and "MF" make me oh so grateful for you.
