It's easy to forget just how clumsily amateurish the right-wing press is, until you read clumsily amateurish slop like this, from the NY Post's Ed Klein:
President Obama has quietly promised Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren complete support if she runs for president--a stinging rebuke to his nemesis Hillary Clinton, sources tell me.
Later in his masturbatory fantasy Klein reveals that his "source" is an Obama administration official--which I don't doubt--who, it should be added, is also undoubtedly laughing his leaking ass off that Klein went to print with such a preposterous tale. One is asked to believe, for instance, that President Obama just sort of forgot about this political maneuver back in January, as reported by the NY Times:
Priorities USA Action, a "super PAC" that played an important role in helping re-elect President Obama, announced that it was formally aligning itself with Mrs. Clinton and would begin raising money to fend off potential opponents for 2016.
I shouldn't make fun of the Post, though. After all, it feeds and cares for the neocon columnist John Podhoretz, which is no small sacrifice on behalf of the developmentally disabled.
