This just in: Paul Ryan's private plea to Republican House members, and their choral replies:
(Ryan)
What's this lying around shit?...
What? "Over"?
Did you say "over"?
Nothing's over until we decide it is!
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
Hell, no!
And it ain't over now.
'Cause when the going gets tough...
the tough get going! Who's with me?
(Silence)
What the fuck happened to the [Republican Party] I used to know?
Where's the spirit?
Where's the guts?
[Last night] could be the greatest night of our lives...
but you're gonna let it be the worst.
(Chorus)
We're afraid to go with you, [Paul].
We might get in trouble.
(Ryan)
Just kiss my ass from now on.
Not me! I won't take this!
(Chorus)
[Paul's] right.
Psychotic...
but absolutely right.....
[W]e have to go all out.
[T]his situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.
We're just the guys to do it.
LOL!!! Perfect.

While I still stand by my claim that Paul Ryan was a robot built by Future Obama, there are some other ways of looking at it.
Paul Ryan is a devout Catholic AND a devout "Objectivist" worshipper of Ayn Rand (this is well-documented).
To understand the construction of his "budget" at its essence are these two things:
1) Destroy a program intended to help vulnerable seniors from becoming destitute or dead.
2) Pass through a ridiculous amount of tax cuts for the most wealthy of this society.
Would Jesus Christ have endorsed Paul Ryan's "budget"? No. Would Ayn Rand? Yes.
It's quite simple, Mr. Carpenter: the rich are the talented people who make the world better. The vulnerable are leeches on the deserving rich.
Welcome to the 2011 Republican party.
Where have you gone, Dwight Eisenhower? A lonely nation turns its eyes to you.

P.M., you just peaked.
If only, the Dems would turn this into a commercial, at least one for internet consumption.
We're just the guys to do it.
