I know that I adore Shakespeare's comedies, so what I don't know is why I don't watch more of Fox News' Francis Fluteses and Tom Snouts, reincarnated last night in the hilarious forms of Bill O'Reilly and Rick Santorum.
"He was a great man!" observed Bill the bellows-mender of Nelson Mandela. "But he was a communist!" he roared. On which Rick the tinker cast his lofty depths:
[Mandela] was fighting against some great injustice, and I would make the argument that we have a great injustice going on right now in this country with an ever-increasing size of government that is taking over and controlling peopleβs lives--and Obamacare is front and center in that.
And they both did it extempore, for it is nothing but roaring.
How can any lover of such majestic duncery be neglecting this? Zounds, I'm ashamed of myself.
