Reince Priebus on Trump's candidacy:
I think it's a net positive [for the GOP].
In a way, I'd like to think that Priebus is honestly that stupid. But then profound stupidity would replace mean-spirited sophistry as modern Republicanism's official creed, which might lead me to feel mere sorrow for Reince Priebus & Friends. And I much prefer the healthy hate I've developed over the years for these insufferable varmints.
Priebus decided Trump is good for the GOP the day after he figured out he was powerless to stop the Donald.
Reince is a very practical boy.

There is a rule in politics that if you have a problem hang a lantern on it. My corollary is that if is a mortal problem festoon it with Christmas lights and pretend it portends gifts for all.

Reince then opined the sun going supernova wouldn't be all that bad for the Republican Party either. What a tool.

I almost never completely disagree with you Bob but I feel compelled to point out that tools are useful.

Probably having Reince sit on important papers would keep them from blowing off a desk.

He's a tool alright. But what kind of tool? I suggest a plumber's snake. Just keep turning and maybe that shit will go down...

I bow to a perfect metaphor.

Touche. That is a possible use.
