Only second you feel? Perhaps you are right though aficionados of cluelessness might honestly disagree for streif often wins the day to day battle at Redstate for the title. He is, in this race, not an also dumb. You probably saw this other streif gem: http://www.redstate.com/2015/08/13/clinton-email-investigation-focuses-mrs-carlos-danger/ which refers to Huma Abedin. I know I can't count the number of times my wife has told me how much she likes seeing women slandered and libeled with their husband's misdeeds. I know they can't help themselves and I'm pretty sure Hillary is counting on it.

I fairness to PM's assertion that Erick is the principal dummy at Redstate I feel I should admit this: http://www.redstate.com/2015/08/13/rick-perrys-guide-to-getting-back-in-the-race/ which contends that Perry needs to go to war with the Republican leadership and its establishment. Yadda yadda yadda. But in the comments I found this gem. In answer to a question about why Jeb is getting all the gubernatorial endorsements a commenter named thestik answered thusly: "The reason why the endorsements from other governors are not on Perry's band wagon is that Perry had been recruiting businesses from these states and he WON and they are p1$$ed." How thestik survived banishment I do not know. But Perry and every other candidate might want to consider this truth before venturing to piss in their fellow Republican's corn flakes.

Whoops, we're getting a little out of phase here. It's more likely Jeb's getting the gubernatorial endorsements because so many Republican governors owe their jobs to the Republican establishment. State governments have been pissing on each other in the race to the bottom since long before this election cycle.

Absolutely true Bob. And that's who Erickson advises all the Republican candidates to assault. Doesn't seem very smart to me. The man does not seem to recognize his own strategy when Trump's people dump on him. The language they use is identical which is hardly surprising since they generally use the most potent insults in their arsenal. He wants them to trump Trump. It is the dumbest strategy I have ever seen.

I'm glad you can get a yuk out of them, but in the supposedly elitist tradition of not being a rightist, I'll opine the RedStaters are too dumb to pay attention to except to note their diminutive mental processes, and it gets to be like watching an ant farm pretty quickly.
